2D Image

2D Images in .png and .jpeg format can be loaded. Transparency is fully supported. This is the recommended way to insert graphics in a scene.

If there is a need to insert 2D Images in a different format than .png or .jpeg, then a format conversion is required. There are many third party applications that can be used for this, e.g. Paint which is included with Windows.
